A calmer way to communicate when talking is hard.

For two people who still need to sort out children, money, dates and belongings, but who cannot do it in a conversation any more. You write what you mean. Your partner receives something they can actually read.

How it works

  1. One

Write it the way you mean it

Say the whole thing, in your own words, while it is still hot. The draft is yours. Nobody else sees it, and nothing is sent until you say so.

  2. Two

Toozen makes it easier to receive

The temperature comes down and the structure becomes clear. You read the version your partner would get, change it, rewrite it, or send the original instead.

  3. Three

Your partner gets the substance, not the sting

Decisions, requests, facts and deadlines arrive intact and clearly marked. What changes is the tone. What you actually said stays said.

What it will not do

Toozen does not decide who is right

It will never take a side, score the relationship, diagnose either of you, or turn a disputed claim into a fact. If your two accounts of something conflict, it can say so. That is all.

Toozen does not hide important information

Decisions, boundaries, requests, admissions, money, deadlines and anything touching safety or the law are preserved word for word. "I want a divorce" can never arrive as "I need some space".

Your original wording is kept, not deleted

Your partner reads the calmer version by default. They can choose to read what you first wrote, but it is a deliberate step and it is recorded. It is never a toggle.

Toozen is deliberately slower than a messenger. There are no typing indicators, no read receipts, no online status and nothing that suggests you owe anyone an answer this minute.

It is not therapy, mediation by a person, or legal advice. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.
